Third Annual Unite Summit Focused on Workforce Housing August 27th

The Hilton Head Island-Bluffton Chamber of Commerce will host the third annual Unite Summit. This year's event - held from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. on Tuesday, August 27 at the Country Club of Hilton Head - will be focused on workforce housing.
Past Unite Summits have focused on housing, transportation, and training the workforce. This year's event will focus solely on housing.
"The Hilton Head Island-Bluffton Chamber of Commerce is committed to helping our members and local municipalities find solutions to our workforce challenges. Our partners have told us that housing their workforce is one of the critical issues they face," said Bill Miles, president & CEO of the Hilton Head Island-Bluffton Chamber of Commerce. "The Unite Summit is a great gathering of leading minds and will help continue the conversation and work toward meaningful solutions."

“Radical Housing: Employer Solutions for its Workforce” with Tony Bonitati, Commercial Housing Solutions at NAI Earle Furman.
“Opportunity Zones: Everything You Wanted to Know, But Were Afraid To Ask” with Tyler Smith, partner at Parker & Poe.
“Workforce Housing To Empower” with Don Oglesby, president of Homes of Hope.
“Local Action for Affordable Housing” panel with Community Development Director of Beaufort County Eric Greenway; Town of Bluffton Director of Growth Management Heather Colin; and Hilton Head Island Town Manager Steve Riley.
“Triple Threat: Economic Development, Workforce & Housing” with Kim Statler, Workforce Advisor for the South Carolina Department of Commerce and others.
“Taking Inventory: Housing Mix Matters” with Brumby McLeod, College of Charleston.
