SBA and SCRA Sign Alliance Agreement

The U.S. Small Business Administration’s South Carolina District and the South Carolina Research Authority formalized their partnership today by signing a Strategic Alliance Memorandum.
The signing ceremony took place with SCRA’s Executive Director, Bob Quinn, and Gregg White, South Carolina’s SBA District Director at SCRA’s Applied Technologies Center in Summerville, SC. The alliance is intended to further economic development through entrepreneurship, improve educational opportunities and advance access to capital and technical assistance.
“We recognize the common goals of SCRA and SBA in helping start, maintain and expand small businesses,” Said R. Gregg White, SC SBA District Director. “This is an opportunity to leverage the resources of both organizations for the benefit of South Carolina small businesses.”
“By supporting entrepreneurs, small businesses and early-stage companies, we are creating opportunities for the citizens of South Carolina.” said Bob Quinn, SCRA Executive Director, “We are excited to formalize our relationship with the SC SBA and look forward to our future collaborations with their team.”
