Hospice Care of the Lowcountry Hires Director of Development

Local nonprofit, Hospice Care of the Lowcountry, adds new Director of Development, James Dismond, to their team.
With experience in providing analytical support for fundraising and community growth, James will be responsible for developing and implementing plans to increase donor and business development within the nonprofit organization.
“We are thrilled to bring James into our team and look forward to him fostering growth within our organization and throughout our community,” said HCL Executive Director Jenny Brasington.
James’s experience with nonprofits at the local, national, and international level has aided him in understanding the means necessary to help organizations grow.
“I am so excited to join this team of amazing individuals,” said James. “Each of our team members is truly passionate about the difference this organization makes, and I am honored to be a part of it.”
Originally from Tompkinsville, KY, James attended Berea College and Marshall University where he studied Psychology and Sociology.
He currently serves as the Hardeeville BNI Chapter President, Bluffton Young Professionals President, Bluffton Chamber Ambassador, Beaufort Regional Chamber Ambassador and Chair of the Bluffton Golden Oyster Awards.
